The Gay & Lesbian Fund honors individuals and organizations making a difference in their communities.
We are inspired by Coloradans who give their time, commitment, and energy every day to make Colorado an even better place to live. Their work encourages others to adopt a philosophy of respect, acceptance, honor and commitment that ultimately benefits and positively impacts all residents in Colorado.
Each year, the Gay & Lesbian Fund for Colorado honors exemplary leaders who make our state a place where all people are valued. We make it a habit to seek out and pay tribute to individuals and organizations who work tirelessly to identify, build, and promote common ground in Colorado.
Winners are powerful voices for their communities. They aren’t shy about contributing their ideas and individual talents. They help inform, educate, and generate thought-provoking conversations about what it means to build a better Colorado. And they work to involve others in creating positive change in their community.
At the heart of these awards is inspiration—the kind of action that causes us to stop, say wow, and ponder what actions we can take that can make that difference, too.
