The Gay & Lesbian Fund for Colorado believes that thoughtful dialogue on a whole host of topics should be encouraged and nurtured. People always find common ground and mutual respect and understanding; it’s human nature.
We think it’s especially important to talk about equality and about issues central to LGBT people in the state. The result we hope will be a more enlightened and educated populace that embraces the value of equality for all people.
As part of our mission, we provoke and engage people and organizations in conversations about equality and what it means. Sometimes these conversations are difficult ones because they make people question their own set of beliefs and life experiences. The fact that the conversation is occurring is the important part.
