Healthy Families
The Gay & Lesbian Fund supports programs that address the basic needs of Colorado’s children, youth, and families. Our funding covers nonprofits that offer everything from mental, emotional and spiritual health to essential physical necessities like food and shelter.
The featured story above highlights the Colorado Children’s Campaign, one of our 2009 Healthy Families grantees that serves as the voice for Colorado’s children. The Campaign gathers and analyzes data every year to find out where Colorado children are doing well and where they might be struggling. The data in their annual Kids Count report helps identify areas where changes can make a positive impact for kids and their families.
