In 2008, we will require that all organizations receiving support from the Gay & Lesbian Fund have an organizational nondiscrimination policy inclusive of gender expression.  Below are a few resources to help educate your organization about the importance of adding gender expression.

Gill Foundation and Gay & Lesbian Fund for Colorado Release 2007 Online Annual Report

[Denver] (May 20, 2008)  The Gill Foundation announced today the release of its 2007 annual report: Achieving Full Equality.  The report is available online at www.gillannualreport.org.   This year’s report focuses on the efforts of individuals and organizations working to advance equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people at all stages of life.  Six grantees are the focus of streaming video interviews posted within the Grantee Profile page. 


Colorado Companies Encouraged To Comply With Nondiscrimination Law Before One-Year Anniversary of ENDA

[Colorado Springs] (May 13, 2008) – One year ago this month, Colorado passed into law an amended version of the Employment Nondiscrimination Act (ENDA). The new ENDA extends workplace discrimination protections to include sexual orientation and gender identity. As the one-year anniversary approaches, the Gay & Lesbian Fund for Colorado is encouraging corporations, nonprofit organizations, government agencies, educational institutions, and other business entities to ensure that they are in compliance with the law. The fund also assists employers with their compliance efforts by providing informational resources to help accelerate and simplify that process.


2006 Annual Report Now Available Online
