What does it mean to be “high-impact”?
High-impact nonprofit organizations are those that:
- Demonstrate shared values with fellow Coloradans about equality for all people.
- Demonstrate civic mindedness by using innovative approaches to promote equality in the four program areas.
- Identify, build, and promote common ground with people throughout Colorado (private citizens, businesses, government entities, nonprofits, educational institutions, faith-based and religious organizations, etc.).

Do you give grants or scholarships to individuals?
No, the Gay & Lesbian Fund for Colorado does not award grants to individuals. In addition, no grants are given for capital campaigns, lobbying purposes, political campaigns, medical research projects, or golf tournaments or other similar activities.
My organization operates a lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender center in Colorado. Can we apply for funds?
No, the Gay & Lesbian Fund for Colorado does not fund LGBT organizations. Organizations seeking this type of funding can apply for funding through the Gill Foundation.
