When it comes right down to it — no matter what one’s sexual orientation or gender expression is, no matter the color of our skin, the cultural traditions we follow, or the religion we subscribe to — most of us share similar values about what is important in life. Love, good health, opportunities for our children, and respect are just a few of the qualities we want and expect for ourselves.

- At the age of 62, Colorado native Shari Wilkins can’t say no to opportunities to volunteer for organizations whose mission is to help seniors, the terminally ill, and families.
